I’d like to ask you a question.

Written by Dan Linton

Hello,

My name is Dan and I’m a student of NSEAS.

I’d like to ask you a question. It was the first question I was asked when I started studying. It’s not so much a question as it is the start of understanding…everything.

The question is “You are here because…?”

Before you answer, appreciate how much is in that question.

Where is Here? – and I don’t mean here on this website reading this page. Where is your “Here”? Where are you at right now? How do you think about the world, about Reality, about life and death, about Spirits, about the Universe and your place in it?

What experience, knowledge and thoughts are the sum total of you? What does your experience, knowledge and thought include? What are they based on? Where do they come from?

Do you end where your skin touches the air? Or does your Reality include more than your body?

Perhaps you’ve always known there is more to Reality than how most people perceive it. Perhaps you’ve discovered meditation, the metaphysical, expanding your consciousness, using energy to heal, experiencing the paranormal and Spirits, out of body experiences, chakras, Spirit Guides and Totems, Shamanic Journeying… the list is endless. Perhaps your Here is already wider than what your family and friends experience.

As you explore where Here is, you can ask yourself the next question. How did you get Here?

Like me, you may have gotten Here because of a significant life event that has shaken you to your core and caused you to ask questions like: What happens when you die? Who or what is in control of your life, and everyone else’s? Is there more to life than what we can see and touch?

Maybe your answers to Where and How are completely different than mine. I can’t begin to guess, and the only person it matters to is the most important person involved in your journey, and that’s you. I would encourage you to ask yourself these questions, and answer yourself honestly. Ask yourself first, and then ask the Universe.

These two questions, Where and How, lead us to the very important and original question.

You are here Because…?

The Because matters far more than the Where or the How. Because is not an easy thing to answer or understand. You may be exploring the Because for a long time to come.

Chances are, your Journey to Here is already different than most. You may not even be aware that you’re on a different path, but if you think back through your life you’ll probably notice patterns that have led to Here. These patterns can give you hints to some of your Because.

NextStage training and resources can help you explore your Here and your Because.

Gaining an understanding of your Because will help you understand your path to Here on an entirely different level. That understanding will in-turn help you expand your awareness and use your natural talents as the Universe takes you to what’s Next.

NextStage training and resources can help you explore your Next, and in ways you are probably not yet conscious of.

There is so much available to you Next – incredible experiences and knowledge, extraordinary personal power, guidance you can access, talents you didn’t know you had and much more. Modern society has taught you to forget all that you are capable of. You can recover skills and senses you’ve lost, and access information, worlds and realities far beyond your current understanding.

How? Expand your awareness. NextStage training and resources can help you expand your awareness, leading you to experience, do and become far more than you ever imagined.

This is uncharted territory for most of us. This Journey is not easy, or painless or simple or quick.

I opened this piece by introducing myself. Susan and Joseph are helping me along my Journey and they can help you along yours. In hopes of helping you understand more of the possibilities of expanded awareness training, and in the spirit of NextStage Principle #51, “Always be willing to share your story”, I will tell you as much of my story as you may wish to know.

Through an ongoing series of blog posts, I will share with you my Where, my How, and as much as I am able, to explain my Because. These posts are about my Journey in expanding my awareness. Other students will do the same.

Your Journey will be far different than mine, but I hope that in reading about mine, you may find more reasons to move along yours. Click here to start from my beginning. You can see all my stories here. You can also read posts from Joe, another student of NSEAS, here.

To paraphrase Joseph, we can show you your door, but only you can walk through.
